Standard Linear Format (SLF)
Standard Linear Format is what we are all used to, we select a video on a streaming service, or go to a theater and sit down and watch it from beginning to end. When we are streaming a movie we can sometimes pause it to hear what was said, or even re-watch a scene.
Interactive Movie Format (IMF)
Yes, we invented the technology, and the term, and it is like it sounds interactive. The movie allows a viewer while watching the movie on our streaming service to interact real time with elements in the movie. For example within a given scene, lets say there is a computer console of sorts, which is often the case in sci-fi genre movies, the view may touch, click on an area on the screen and drill down on a given element within the movie, in this example, seeing more detail about what is displayed on the computer console.
Extended Reality (XR)
Extended Reality (XR) is an umbrella term that overarches Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), Mixed Reality (MR), and everything in between. It is part of the Nth-Dimension Universe, which is more than a metaverse format. It can be experienced, with headsets, on screen, or on a wearable mobile device.
